A Business Fairy tale...
Once upon a time, in a land not far away, lived a small businessman. He loved his job and business was good – but no matter how hard he worked, things just kept piling up. Every day he’d clear his desk – but when the sun came up the next morning, the pile of paper was as every bit high as the night before.
One day he held his head and cried, “If only someone could help me. I can’t afford someone to work full time and temps don’t have the skills, but if someone could spare a few hours here and there – especially when a big project comes in – I’d be the happiest businessman in the world!”.
Suddenly there was a flash of light and there, perched on the very topmost of the very tallest pile of paper, was The Business Fairy. “A bulb’s blown”, she said. “I’ll do a stationery order”.
“Then with a wave of my magic wand, I can make your troubles disappear! I’ve over 20 years admin experience and provide a first class service and skills to exceptionally high levels. I mix lateral thinking with a ‘can do’ attitude and my enthusiasm, flexibility and humour are the talk of the town”.
“Perfect!”, cried the businessman – and looked forward to living happily ever after.
